What should you wear when its nippy in the morning...and hot in the afternoon? Canadians know best: layers! This outfit is perfect for autumn weather that just can't make up its mind. In the morning try out the latest scarf trend I like to call "The Flight Attendant" by wrapping the smaller scarf (this one was sent to me by my grandmother in Moscow) around your neck a couple times and then tying a pretty bow. Ward of the morning chills with a cozy throw-on sweater from H&M over top of a white blouse.
If you get hot in the afternoon, you can still look professional in this white blouse tucked into beige linen pants (Dynamite) paired with auburn fall wedges (Tom's Shoes). This look is perfect for school, work, shopping, and everything in between. The great thing about this outfit is that you can dress down/up the basic pants and blouse to whatever degree suits your day. I would wear this outfit everyday if it didn't require a whole bunch of ironing!

Keep your hair simple to mirror the elegant simplicity of the outfit. I would recommend either a slick top knot or a half up-do. In the photo I simply take the front sections of hair and pin it behind my ears for a more professional look. My ends naturally curl but if yours don't a soft wave adds a graceful, feminine touch to your overall look.
